Sylvania is conveniently positioned on the northern end of the Sutherland Shire, just 22km from the CBD. Sylvania’s prime location means residents are close to everything happening within the Sutherland Shire, while Tom Ugly’s Bridge provides quick access to the St George area and beyond ( a 15 mins by car to Airport and 35 mins to Sydney CBD).

Sylvania has a well equipped shopping centre named ‘Southgate’, as well as a row of shops along the Princes Highway, offering locals fresh food, supermarkets, retail, cafes, bowling alley, pub, fast food and gyms.

Sylvania is a convenient 5 mins drive to Westfield Miranda and trains,  while the beaches and restaurants of Cronulla are only 15mins away.

Sylvania has a number of local schools including Sylvania Heights Public School, Sylvania High School and Sylvania Public School.

The area is serviced by buses to neighbouring suburbs, including Cronulla, Miranda and Hurstville – it’s a 50 minute journey into Sydney CBD via public transport.
