Como, NSW

Como is a leafy region just 32km from the CBD on the Georges River, hosting popular primary schools including Como Public School and Como West Public School, in addition to a number of parks and recreational facilities, such as  St George Rowing Club and Scylla Bay Oval.

Como is home to two historical Sutherland Shire landmarks: The Como Hotel is a heritage listed and recently refurbished establishment great for catching up with friends and family. The Como Pleasure Grounds is a scenic recreational area with well equipped BBQ and playground, overlooking the Georges River.

Como has “local shops”on Wolger Street, but it’s only minutes by car to larger stores in Miranda, Sylvania and Taren Point. Depending on traffic, it’s 15-20 minutes to the beaches, restaurants and atmosphere in Cronulla.

Advantageously, Como is on the railway line and only a 40 minute journey into Sydney’s CBD.

The strong community spirit, beautiful parks, local school and train line makes Como a great place for families and individuals working in the CBD.

Como is primarily traditional brick, weatherboard or fibro family homes.
