Barden Ridge, NSW

Barden Ridge is located 31 km South West of Sydney CBD and is colloquially known to locals as ‘The Ridge’.

Barden Ridge is located with the Bangor Bypass to the North and Heathcote Road to the South. The Bangor Bypass has greatly improved convenience as residents are now able to directly access Sutherland and surrounding suburbs without having to travel through Menai or Bangor.

The closest train stations are in Sutherland and Padstow, which residents can easily access via the local bus service, and it’s roughly a one hour journey for locals into the CBD.

Lucas Heights Community School and Sutherland Shire Christian School ensure Barden Ridge is a great place to raise a family.

Barden Ridge is also home to great amenities, most notably the Ridge Sports Complex, the Ridge Golf Course, Barden Ridge Oval and numerous local reserves, encouraging a healthy and active family community.

Barden Ridge residents, mainly established couples and families, are extremely house proud and gardens are typically well maintained, creating beautiful  streets of primarily large family homes on generous blocks.
